This tasty morsel has been designed and developed by Play ‘N Go, and with bakery shows such as The Great British Bake-Off currently all the rage, it has a pretty big audience right now. Baker’s Treat is much more than just a sweet looking slot machine, though. Our Bakers Treat slot review is jam-packed with saucy special features.
Baker’s Treat Wagering and Prizes
Sitting upon a tablecloth which doubles as the five reels of this game, are various tasty treats such as cupcakes, macaroons and pies. Above those reels are a set of different desserts and these come into play in the bonus round. There are 15 paylines in all, fixed to the reels of this video slot.
Players can use the predictable Play ‘N Go slider menu to adjust their stakes from €/$0.15 per spin up to €/$75.00 a game. The RTP rate is rather petite in this slot, at just 96.04%. The somewhat medium-high volatility slot doesn’t offer wins frequently, and they aren’t particularly impressive either, capped at 60x your total bet if you can score five strawberry sponge desserts on a line.
Keep an eye out for that strawberry sponge. As well as being the best-paying symbol in the game, it also doubles as a wild symbol and can replace all others in the game without exception. Now, onto those dessert bars. When a reel is filled with the same cakes as those represented above the reel, a spot is filled on the bar. When all three spots are filled with those particular dessert symbols, a Flour Power free spin feature is offered.
Green cupcakes promise three spins with locked and synced reels displaying the same symbols. Blueberry pie bonuses offer three spins with a wild reel, and carrot cake bonuses offer three spins with carrot cake wilds. Lemon cheesecake bonuses offer three spins with expanding wilds, and strawberry sponge bonuses offer three spins with various coloured macaroons turning into the same symbol.
Flour Power Bonus Round
Players who land all five cake symbols on their respective reels at the same time will trigger a different type of free spin bonus. It is one that offers just five free spins, although each free spin will contain one of the different Flour Power features until all five have been played.
Players who land stacked symbols on the reels can add additional free spins to their tally, effectively prolonging this rewarding and prosperous bonus round.
Our Verdict of Baker’s Treat
Baker’s Treat is quite an enjoyable slot to play but don’t expect too much from this one. According to Play ‘N go the max win potential is 5.000x your stake but the chances of that happening are quite slim. That said, Bakers Treat did surprise us, especially during the Flour Power bonus round.
